THE JOURNEY CONTINUES GOOCH SHELTER -> WOODY GAP

Day 3 – 29 Jun 2014 (5.2 miles)

The day started with us boiling water and enjoying West Memphis Grits Souffle and Startbuck coffee (VIA Packets).  After that, we headed down the trail (naturally Prospector left prior to Bling & me).

We had 4 hours to travel the 5 miles from the shelter to Woody Gap so we stopped and chatted with several SOBO hikers along the way.  We met up with Prospector at the overlook near Liss Gap

and naturally,  he headed out when we got there 🙂
